Captain Gerard Fontenot, a helicopter pilot in the United States Marines, presented Mandeville Elementary an American flag and a Louisiana flag which he flew over the battlefields of Iraq. Captain Fontenot, a former MES student and son of MES' cafeteria manager, Ms. Wanda Cousin, flies a CH-53 Sea Stallion. Mandeville Elementary is honored to fly these flags. |
