MES in Action

At MES, we are always working on doing our best and being our best.  Here's just a few of the ways we shine!

Fall 2009 brought so many wonderful and fun activities to MES, including the First Grade's Wild Rumpus (complete with homemade "monster" costumes), Third Grade Pet Day and school-wide Literacy Night.

Mr. Fussell Named MES 2008-09 Teacher of the Year

Mr. Fussell teaches third grade and shares his expertise with his fellow teachers through workshops and planning. He is eager to do whatever it takes to enhance learning for all of his students.  Mr. Fussell is leading the technology club. He took the initiative to ask to do this and is organizing it.  Mr. Fussell also helped design the layout of the new computer lab. He is truly a leader at MES!!

REFLECTIONS WINNER!!

Great Job Hillary!  Hillary's literature entry in the Reflections Program earned her an Award of Excellence (1st Place) in the Primary Grade Level for St. Tammany Parish.  Hillary's pet duck, "Peepster", was the inspiration for her entry, which will now be sent to compete at the State level.
Great job and good luck!!
